Leaving Vienna felt, as if I left my old life behind. The life that had cost me love and sanity and a great part of my moral integrity. Moral is a thing for mortals, trust and all these things. I've met a few loyal and faithful Cainites. But they are and, probably, will always be the minority of a dying old world, kept alive by machines like a dying rich old man. The majority of the Cainite society is singularly after their own advantage. They will never help someone in need, unless they are given something in return. Ironically a Cainite in debt is one that will not die fast, because the people, whom he owns favours, want them fulfilled
